Eye of the Beholder (sold)
Wolf in pastel/pastel pencil. (17" x 11" framed).

Fascinating
I am absolutely fascinated by the intense colours and penetrating power of wolves eyes, they just seem to hypnotise you! In this small piece I simply wanted to focus purely on the fantastic strength and icy, focused composure those eyes can have. I chose to crop it very tightly in a letter box format to add impact to the image, it really is all about the stare!!!
I was working on this piece whilst manning my stand at the Marwell Art Market weekend back in August. I was completely amazed by how many people came over and commented on it, they were really draw to the intensity of the piece. Needless to say, I was absolutely thrilled when I was able to sell it before it was even completely finished! I'm very glad to say that it has now been finished and is safely living with its new owner!
